La Grande Epicerie, a grocery store, is now offering a table above its food hall, which creates a natural connection between raw materials and art of cuisine. Suspended between the ground floor and canopy, La Table is bathed in the constant sunlight underneath a transparent roof.

The space floats in the middle of Le Bon Marché , as an inner vibe to stimulate shoppers' appetites.

Visualise yourself picnicking under the clear blue sky with greatest french food, now make it happen!

The atmosphere is warm and romantic with the sunlight coming through glistening green leaves.

Simple menu, sounds delicious just by the names.

"SOT L'Y LAISSE FRICASSE CHICKEN RISOTTO" is recommended.

Two different kinds of small baguettes and soufflets will be served as starters with a cup of bourgogne red wine. The bread is home-made daily and served warm.

Artificial trees standing in the middle of La Table create an illusion as if you were lunching alfresco.

Dishes: the juicy "sot l'y laisse risotto" and the "heart grilled beef with sauce bearnaise".

Let us tell you a story about the "sot l'y laisse" « Piece of meat very thin and tender, at each side of the chicken above the rump, so good that french people used to say " le sot l'y laisse " (only Idiots will leave it) . It is said that one French King ate only this part of chicken and used to threw the rest away or to give it to the dogs. In the picture below the potatoes are called pomme dauphine, inside of the crispy crust there is mashed potatoes mixed with delicious cream. Spreading and tasting the sauce Bearnaise will be your favourite part.

You will be amazed by the high-quality service.

There is always a queue to wait for a table. Epect this and don't come too late.

Air- pollution free, noise free, with blue sky over your head, why not have a lunch break at La Table?
