If you are searching for a unique experience, Catacombes is definitely an activity to do in Paris. Beneath the City of Light lies the secret dark city of death containing the bones of millions of Parisians. This huge place measuring 320 km was ancient stone quarries. At the end of the 18th century the quarries were used as an ossuary to put the bones of the overflowing Parisian cemeteries. The extensive network of underground ossuaries hold the remains of more than six million people. The Catacombes open to the public are about 4km, most of the Catacombs with labyrinthian structures, are not open to the public.

The best view over Paris is definitely from the Sky! The air balloon Generali is located in the stunningly beautiful modern park Parc Andre Citroen, southwest of the Eiffel Tower. The 10-minute flight up to a height of 150 meters above the ground offers a panoramic view of all of Paris. Note that the flights can be cancelled due to the weather conditions, so check well weather forecast and don't book it too long in advance.
