Looking for a quiet, charming spot in the middle of Paris to enjoy lunch or dinner? The Moment is the perfect place for you.

Located at 32 Rue du Fer-à-Moulin, this cozy restaurant sits on a peaceful Parisian street just few steps from the Jardin des Plantes, one of the city’s most beautiful and unique parks. It’s also close to the well-known Pharmacie Monge.

Beloved by locals, this hidden gem remains largely undiscovered by tourists. The Moment serves traditional French cuisine with a modern twist, all in a stylish, feminine décor — ideal for snapping a few Instagram-worthy photos while savoring authentic French flavors.
If you’re surprised to see a giant teddy bear lounging in the restaurant, here’s why: the Nounours des Gobelins (“Teddy Bears of the Gobelins”) are part of a local community project that began in 2018. A nearby bookseller started lending out these oversized teddy bears to local cafés, shops, and residents to display around the neighborhood. The initiative quickly went viral, becoming a joyful symbol of kindness, humor, and togetherness — and adding a touch of whimsy to the area.

Well, after enjoying these generous main courses, we decided to share just two desserts, and they were absolutely amazing:
Tarte Tatin – a classic French treat featuring caramelized apples baked under a buttery pastry crust and flipped over to reveal a perfectly golden, sticky-sweet masterpiece.
Pavlova – possibly the best we’ve ever had, with a crisp meringue shell and a soft, marshmallow-like interior, topped with luxurious whipped cream and fresh, vibrant fruit.
